I have 5 children, ages 2 to 9, and they all LOVE this tent. It's durable (I know because they have really pounded on it) and fun (I know because they spend hours in it!). I may get another one so they can play "seige." It was a little more work than your average tent to get it up, but I think it's durability is worth the extra time.

My kids all love this castle! They also play in tents and a little tikes house - but this different. They are getting a lot of use out of it - and have been quite imaginative with it . . . somtimes I find it in the strangest positions. I have to say, surprisingly, it's holding up just great!

Great imagination and play potential. It was fun while it lasted. Unfortunately, we played with this outside. With the hot sun, it faded and the supports warped in about 3 weeks beyond repair. I have a 4 year, petite daughter who is not a rough & tumble kind of kid and it was trashed! A MAJOR disappointment.

our two year old loves this and unlike so many other hideous toddler items, this is tolerable looking. the toy encourages imaginary play and is worth the money. really great item.

Our kids have played with this for two years now. They were 3 and 1 when we purchased it, and we pull it out and tuck it away to "keep it new" for them. Whenever it goes up, their imaginations go wild. They build fortresses, stow toys (aka, treasure), and even their older cousins like to play in it. No tears, despite rough treatment. However, the plastic "beams" used in the ceiling of the tent are easy for my sons to pull out and "weaponize" (but that's not the toy's fault!).

We placed this order at 5:00 on a Monday afternoon and received it on Wednesday. It was a birthday present for my six year old but all of the kids play in it. It's huge and well-made. I spent about 10 minutes figuring out which poles to start with but once I had that part down, it didn't take long to put together. If you take the time to look at the diagram, it's really not that tough. I consider it well worth the time since the kids enjoy it so much.

Can't put it together!,

We have tried putting this together several ways and can't seem to get it right. We have read the instructions over and over and it shouldn't be this hard. Any suggestions from other users?? It says to use 4 poles on the bottom and then the top...this makes it smaller than the actual tent. It's also confusing because they actually sent 12 poles for the top and bottom instead of eight. HELP!! I left a message with Pacific Playtents but no response yet.
