My 4 year old just loved it! It is her own special place. I love it because it doesn't slide off the bed. The poles are made just like tent poles. They are very durable. They are not hollow like the others that use pvc. They wanted me to rate the educational value, I put 5 stars since imagination is important too. I would recommend this for any little girl.

Our 5-year old daughter loves this castle tent! Mom and Dad have a few hesitations. Putting the tent together was simple and it fits snuggly over the bed much like a fitted sheet - therein lies the problem. Because it DOES fit like a sheet, there is no way to put a real fitted sheet on the bottom of the tent, which means unless you just lay a sheet on the bottom (which slides around easily), your child sleeps on plastic - a bit hot. If you decide to take it down, you really need to take it apart to store it. Having said that - it looks cute and flaps are easy to roll up and tie in place. Our daughter really views it as her secret escape and doesn't mind being left alone to sleep.

My daughter got this for Christmas this year. She loves having her own tent. She was always making tents with blankets and the kitchen chairs, and I saw this and knew she'd love it. She loves "camping" with all her stuffed animals! The tent seems very durable, and I have not had a problem with it falling off the bed. Although it is supposed to fit the bed like a fitted sheet, the elastic ends dont seem to be "tight" enough. However the tent poles keep it in place. She's had it on her bed since Christmas night, and it has not shifted at all. I especially like the screened "windows" on the doors of the tent. That way I dont have to unzip it to check on her at night, I can just look thru the windows.

This is a wonderful product. We've used it for almost a year now and it has withstood tremendous abuse. It's very well made and extremely durable. The manufacturer recomends just spot cleaning, but I've even washed it in the washing machine without any trouble. We've taken it on vacation twice. It's very easy to assemble and take apart. My 2 y/o loves it!!! We bought it for her after she learned to climb out of her crib, after she fell out of a toddler bed. We just put a twin mattress w/the tent on it on the floor. It's a great way to transition to a bed.

Got this for our daughter. She loves it. Zipping it up gives her a sense of safety and privacy. It gets hot at night, like a little oven.

This bed tent is amazing! Normally I would not imagine that I would spend $45 on a little ol bed tent but, I do not regret it. I have bought bed tents in the past but they were usually the ones that sell for about $15 and those are the ones you do not want to waste your money on. Spend more and you'll get your money's worth, on this product anyway. My 7 year old absolutely loves it!! She is so happy with how it is like a fitted sheet on the bottom so it will not slide off her bed like the others in the past have. She loves the little windows, and the pockets inside for her books and flashlight. She is happy and I am happy to know I did not spend almost $50 on a bed tent for it to be junk. It seems to be very sturdy and it has so much space it it as well. Also, I ordered this on April 12, and recieved it on the 13th! My expected delivery date on it was the 19th. I never expected such a fast delivery! That is why I order from Amazon.com more than any other site! What more could you ask for in a site! My daughter loves it! It's very durable and was simple to put together. One disappointment...It was described and pictured with a zipper closure and it actually had a velcro closure. My daughter has trouble getting it closed herself so she calls for help frequently. Other then that we love it!

I had a bed tent as a kid and loved it, now my daughter has a bed tent and she loves it. It is well made, delivered promptly, and appropriately priced when bought on sale for Christmas. My only complaint is that the design of the tent does not accommodate the normal, cotton, fitted sheets for the bed and the synthetic fabric floor of the tent is not too breathable for sleeping on. I remember my old tent just fit over my bed as a kid, so there was no problem to use regular bed sheets. To use cotton sheets in this bed we had to lay a feather bed with a cotton sheet on the floor of the tent, which is already on top of a twin bed. At any rate, my little girl loves the tent and it is well crafted aside from that one design feature, so beyond that my complaint is not too important.

We got the tent on a recommendation of a friend so that our 4 year old could sleep in our room when "monsters invade hers." It is pretty spacious inside and also provides privacy. Good quality. Light. Packs into a very small bag when not in use. The tent is a big hit with our 1 year old too and all the little visitors who come to our home. This by far beats chairs and blankets!

This is my first review ever, i figured it was time to mention a product that we were really happy with. IT goes up for every sleep over and is a big hit with all my daughters friends. It goes great on the aerobed in the living room. A little thin but not a single tear and boy has it been used!!! Def get! we have it for the full size bed.
