I was skeptical to try this product. I was fearful that I would cause more nicks and cuts, because it seemed asthough there was nothing between my skin and the blade. (you can see the shaving cream) However, after using Pacific Shaving Oil just once, I became a convert. My face received the closest shave ever, as well as retaining its natural moisture. Since Pacific Shaving Oil does not have any alcohol, your face does NOT dry up after shaving. In fact, the oils in Pacific Shaving Oil actually moisturize your face, all without clogging your pores. Its great to travel with as well, since it is packaged in a small bottle. Once you try this product, you will switch.

I have rapidly growing and thick black hair. Well 50% black at this point and the hair grows everywhere except on my head!! But I do shave my face every morning and sometimes twice a day.Early September we were planning a 2 week backpack tour of Eastern Europe which meant packing as lightly as possible. Last time I flew a brand new shaving cream got confiscated because it was a 4 oz container not 3.I had casually mentioned I this with a friend who just returned from the Galapagos and he mentioned shaving oils. A search on Amazon brought up this item and I ordered a 3 pack as the bottles seemed to be small.I was astounded. 8-10 drops on a wet face will cover the shaving are, even on a big mug like mine. There is a very light foaming action that is barely noticeable but a useful guide to make sure every inch is covered. The disposable razor I use guides over smoothly and best of all does not clog up. Keeping the blade wet helps with a smooth gliding action. The oil gives off a a faint pleasant aroma that reminds me of orange and lemon rinds with trace of sandalwood (I have a strange sense of smell my wife tell me). The aroma does not stay as soon as the face is rinsed off so unfortunately an for me an aftershave is still needed. It is now 8 weeks since I started shaving daily with this product and the bottle is still half full. My problem is my wife heard me raving about this product and she stole it for her own use on her legs. She mentions this to our daughter who, while visiting from NY, decides to take the third bottle with her.I have gone ahead and ordered another supply, this time the big 2 oz. bottle. Incidentally using the oil as a base under shaving cream gives a luxurious feeling shave. It is not necessary and too much trouble for everyday shaves (I can be spoilt so quickly)but I can envision someone with super sensitive skin using this combination method.Incidentally, security was a breeze and the trip to Prague, Krakow and Budapest was wonderful - also highly recommended, but then I am getting sidetracked.

I bought this for my husband and he loves it. I love it too because now his skin is nice and smooth. He has a mustache and goatee that isn't thick but his skin is really sensitive. He says he really loved how you can use just a little bit of the product and it "does the trick." I wish it came in a bigger bottle for the price. Although, he hasn't had to replace it and he's owned it for nearly three months and uses it almost every other day.

I have been using an electric razor for years because shaving was always a pain. But when a friend put me onto this stuff I was amazed. Not a single nick and so smooth. Reminds me of the days when my barber used to give me a flawless shave with a straight edge! If you have to use a razor this stuff is a must have. And the size is perfect for travelling.

i am a straight razor shaver but i like to travel and i travel small so this product caught my interest but i was skeptical that it would have the same protection as a good thick lather from soap or cream. so i get ready to endure a hair pulling, skippy and possibly bloody shave and when i touch razor to face i feel nothing like im rubbing the back of the razor on my face. amazing stuff just tried it and had one of the best shaves ever.

I was taken in by the product description and decided to give it a go. I was very surprised at how good this product was. This experience changed how I shave and look at shaving products. Since using the All Natural Shaving Oil I have tried others and the best by far (so far!) is a product called Ozeoil from Australia. It is fantastic, great smell, nice balance of menthol and it gives a great shave. Check them out at [...]. Get into shaving oils - they will change your life.

I don't like using shaving cream b/c it gunks up my razor. This shaving oil is so much cleaner and easier to use than shaving cream! It doesn't foam or get thick. I don't have to rinse my razor after every pull ! I highly recommend it!

I could get long winded but the title says it all. For ME? It works no better than a couple drops of baby oil. Sorry.

This product claims to be all natural. That's it's unique selling point. Well, I am a PhD chemist, Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry and a Chartered Chemist and I am here to tell you this product is not made from all natural ingredients. Far from it!

From their list of ingredients listed here:[...]

1. Laureth-4 which is a surfactant that does not occur in nature
2. Cyclopentasiloxane which is silicone oil! They describe it as "a cousin of mineral oil". What a joke. This is 100% synthetic and does not occur in nature.

These are not natural and are two of the three main ingredients so they are present in higher concentrations.

What does this mean for you as a customer? First it means that you are not getting the natural product you were promised and paid for. Second it means that you are buying from a company that is either willfully lying to their customers or maybe they do not have a chemist working for them in which case who wants to put stuff on their skin which was formulated without any knowledge of the ingredients? Neither option is appealing.

Beware that one of their competitors also claims "silicone free" and then when you read the list of ingredients you find that it contains silicone. I hope Amazon takes a dim view of this deceptive practice.

I have tried four different brands of shaving oil and this product compares well to other products that are four times the cost. I wouldn't say that this product beats them, but for it to be comparable to such products as The Art of Shaving's oils, which costs twice as much, I say this is one of those great buys that any shaver can't pass up. I have found that after a shower, put on the oil, lather up, and shave. Very close and irritation free shave!
