I had my parents get this for my 9 year old autistic daughter for Christmas. She is extreamly hard to buy for as we dont quite know what will make her happy. This turned out to be an awsome gift! She likes to be covered but I worry that she cant breathe well. This tent has plenty of mesh that I dont need to worry. It can also stay open if you want. When we put this together, she became VERY excited and she jumped right in and was giggling the whole time! It also kind of helped promote interaction with her little sister. She was so excited about it, she actually asked (in her way)her sister to get in with her, and then wanted her sister to sleep with her! She still has it up and the girls play in it daily. This was one of the best gifts I have ever found for her.

Our 5-year old daughter loves this castle tent! Mom and Dad have a few hesitations. Putting the tent together was simple and it fits snuggly over the bed much like a fitted sheet - therein lies the problem. Because it DOES fit like a sheet, there is no way to put a real fitted sheet on the bottom of the tent, which means unless you just lay a sheet on the bottom (which slides around easily), your child sleeps on plastic - a bit hot. If you decide to take it down, you really need to take it apart to store it. Having said that - it looks cute and flaps are easy to roll up and tie in place. Our daughter really views it as her secret escape and doesn't mind being left alone to sleep.

My 4 year old just loved it! It is her own special place. I love it because it doesn't slide off the bed. The poles are made just like tent poles. They are very durable. They are not hollow like the others that use pvc. They wanted me to rate the educational value, I put 5 stars since imagination is important too. I would recommend this for any little girl.

My daughter got this for Christmas this year. She loves having her own tent. She was always making tents with blankets and the kitchen chairs, and I saw this and knew she'd love it. She loves "camping" with all her stuffed animals! The tent seems very durable, and I have not had a problem with it falling off the bed. Although it is supposed to fit the bed like a fitted sheet, the elastic ends dont seem to be "tight" enough. However the tent poles keep it in place. She's had it on her bed since Christmas night, and it has not shifted at all. I especially like the screened "windows" on the doors of the tent. That way I dont have to unzip it to check on her at night, I can just look thru the windows.

This is a wonderful product. We've used it for almost a year now and it has withstood tremendous abuse. It's very well made and extremely durable. The manufacturer recomends just spot cleaning, but I've even washed it in the washing machine without any trouble. We've taken it on vacation twice. It's very easy to assemble and take apart. My 2 y/o loves it!!! We bought it for her after she learned to climb out of her crib, after she fell out of a toddler bed. We just put a twin mattress w/the tent on it on the floor. It's a great way to transition to a bed.

I can rember having a Tent as a child and loving it. Not too many toys stand out in my mind like my tent, so I thought I would search for one for my 3 year old's double bed. You can find them in the stores for twin beds but not double. So I searched Amazon and found one. Talked it over and ordered. Best decision I made. I love the tent. It is just like the one I rember when I was a child and my daugher LOVES IT!!!! It brings back so many memories for me and now my daugher can have the same. It seems sturdy and as far as durability, I will keep you posted b/c she is a rough little girl...lol
She is sleeping in it now with no problems falling asleep. I am glad I made the decision to purchase it.

Got this for our daughter. She loves it. Zipping it up gives her a sense of safety and privacy. It gets hot at night, like a little oven.

This tent is AWESOME!!! My 5 year old daughter got it as a gift and she loves it! I was worried because I read the reviews said that the bottom of the tent goes ON TOP of her mattress but that's NOT true!!! There actually is NO solid bottom on the tent. The tent sides are elastic and hold onto the mattress so the child is NOT sleeping on plastic. It does get kinda hot in the tent after a while if it's closed but I just keep a fan near by and make sure the "curtain" is up at night. Hope this helps!!
