5.0 out of 5 stars New Name Same Energy, September 25, 2002
By
This review is from: Pacifier (Audio CD)
The new name, Pacifier, has done nothing to change the way these guys rock. The long awaited to Shihad's 1999 'The General Electric' is a rock solid album. Every track on this album has the potential to become a hit single. Im predeicting the single 'Bullitproof' which will be the 1st US single will shoot up the charts. As many listens as Ive given this album I cant find a negative thing to say about it. The bonus CD W.O.M.D. contains 5 killer tracks, of which Toxic Shock will be much anticipated live in concert. This album is a must have not only for old fans but a great way to intoduce new fans.

5.0 out of 5 stars Still The Same Old Shihad, August 16, 2002
This review is from: Pacifier (Audio CD)
Today (16/08/02)happens to be the release date of the self titled Pacifier album in their home country of New Zealand. The first 10,000 CDs sold will come with the limited edition bonus disc titled 'Weapons Of Destruction.' This consists of songs that are not quite good enough to make it onto the Pacifier Album but are still good enough to be heard by their faithful fans who get in first for their CD.
Great music following 'The General Electric' with the new single 'Comfort Me' they will break into the American music scene much more than they have previously done. The songs on this CD vary from plain rock ot Hard Rock but none of them shall dissapoint. The main thing is that with a change of name, their output of music has far from decreased. Its still ironic the lead singers name just happens to be Jon Toogood. Couldn't be any closer to the truth >Enjoy<
