One of the three boxes had a completely broken latch. The others look like they might break in the near future.

The product also suffers from a design flaw. The opening is about 3 times larger than cereal boxes from other companies, so pouring cereal into a bowl without spilling is nearly impossible.

Good:
Good seal, wide opening, fits a big box of cereal
Bad:
Pour latch too close to top latch (can accidentally open the top/spill), TOO WIDE of an opening (so you have to corner pour a lot), handle unwieldy, actually takes up more space than a cereal box due to handle design (which is bad anyway).

I use one to hold protein powder, which actually works very well as I can reach in and also take the scoop out of that giant opening. I suspect it could be good for flour and sugar as well. Not that great for cereal.

I don't seem to have the broken latch problem others have though.

Snapware's other products are pretty grand (snack canisters, glasslock), but this is a pretty solid miss.

I bought 4 sets of these. Which are 12 containers in total. Of all only 4 are good 8 are bad. All the remaining lids have broken latches. I strongly don't recommend this product. Very Disappointing.

I bought one of these at BBB before ordering a set. they are perfect for bags of cereal. we buy the big bags of malt o meal and the large bags of cereal. these boxes are perfect, they hold the contents of even the largest bag. the flip top is perfect for pouring. cereal stays fresh 10x longer in these that in a bag. Easily holds 3 boxes of cereal or 1 big bag.

Works like advertised. Holds lots of cereal in a space efficient manner. Secure closures. Have three, getting three more to help keep the pantry organized.

The containers came with one of the lids already broken. The company was quick to send a replacement lid, that broke in the same spot when I tried to put it on the container. These containers are also too big for a normal cabinet space. If you are storing on shelves in a pantry, they are not so bad.

I had one of those box - bought in a store - and wanted to get more as I tend to buy large quantities of cereals and flours.
Unfortunately, on the three ordered, 2 had a broken lid upon arrival. It doesn't prevent them to close, but it is disappointing for something bought new, and let me know it is probably as sturdy as one might think. Or it was there prior to shipment. No way to know.

These boxes work great. I use them for cereal and it keeps the product really fresh. I will be getting more of these.

These containers are great. They are airtight which is what i wanted.

An entire box of cereal fits in these with room to spare (when you pour the cereal out ... can't fit the actual box in). I even put one of those extra-large cereal boxes (like of cheerio's) and still had some room to spare.

I am considering buying some more of these :-)

A great way to get rid of the bulky bags of cereal! I love how they help keep my cabinet organized!
