Great little speakers w/ BIG sound! People are amazed when I play these on my little netbook computer. Battery life is very good-I get up to 4+hours on a full charge. Afterwards, I can plug them into the USB ports on my home computer and fully charge them in about an hour! Highly recommended!

Great little speaker, So easy to carry with you for more enjoyment from your ipod or computer. Makes a very cool gift too !

This was a good purchase. One small con though : the speaker cord that comes out in the bottom is thin and, altough the speakers have not yet been used a lot, I suspect that, at some point, it will start to break just like happens to earphone wires that are used/best and twisted frequently. Given that they are short, a repair would be complicated and I hope that they are made thicker in newer versions. For me, due to that concern with the wire, this product is rated at 4.5 and I would buy and recommend it nevertheless.

My husband & I were excited to try these out. We liked the idea and thought this would be a great gift for our adult kids. We were amazed at the sound for such a little device and we thought the price was good also. Unfortuantely one worked only when connected to something else due to the fact that the battery wouldn't hold a charge. So I had to send it back and pay for the postage. I don't believe it should be my cost to pay to return a faulty product. The person who initally showed them to me also said that he had to send a few back. I will not buy from GSI again and recommend purchasing these local or from a reliable vendor on line.

Had purchased cheap imitations of this speaker at a local office supply store at Christmas. Needed new ones and they turned out to be a special. So I found these and they were so worth the extra money and don't need to be replace. They arrived quickly and in excellent condition. Making happy sounds x2 now!

We have had these speakers for over two years and the sound is awesome. They are durable and we use them on the boat every weekend.

These little speakers are awesome. They are loud and give out great sound for being so small. I recommend them to anyone.

The headphones on the other hand... The sound was pretty good and they were fairly comfy. But within 4 hours of using them they began to fall apart. I won't be getting another pair of these.

Some nice bells and whistles, like volume control and the ability to piggy back the speakers in a chain, but I was VERY DISAPPOINTED with what everyone was raving about with respect to volume. I bought 2 of these to replace a pair of capsule speakers by iHome. I had imagined the the volume would be much better on these after reading all the rave reviews. WRONG!!! If I had it to do over again, I would have purchased another set of the iHome capsule speakers. Even though they don't have individual volume control (and who really needs it) they put out a lot more sound than the minis. (ABOUT 2 TO 1). And you don't need to piggy back them because they put out so much more sound. Would highly recommend the capsule speakers made by iHome.
