A really cool and safe way to carry your passport on trips,

The neck pouch is one of those things that seasoned travelers hate to wear because it makes you look like a dork. Well, that's true, but I did a month around the world and decided that I'd rather look like a dork and have my passport than be without it in the middle of nowhere.
The pouch itself is pretty light, and can hold a handful of credit cards, cash and your passport. The strap itself is made out of metal but wrapped in a nylon (?) material that doesn't feel like you've got a heavy metal cable wrapped around your neck. The strap is rather long, so instead of using this as a neck pouch, I put it around my waist and had the passport and everything on my hip tucked inside my pants. This is a pouch worth getting if you're going overseas and need to keep your passport on you at all times. I'm happy with it, and glad I bought it.

A Good Idea With Things to Improve,

I bought this wallet six years ago when I traveled through Europe. I thought it was really intuitive to use metal for the cord rather than cloth which can be cut. I found having a neck wallet was indeed as invaluable then as I did recently when I traveled for a year around the world. Three deep pockets, one zippered w/ safety lock, make this incredibly versatile and capable of holding most, if not all, of your important documents, your money, credit cards, etc. The back is soft against the skin and the overall construction feels solid.
A few things that bothered me were: the adjustable cord is thick and is not as malleable as cloth so it can be very noticeable around your neck or under your clothes. Secondly, the cord tended to lengthen on its own if I had it partially concealed under my shirt and my trousers. Thirdly, after six years of use, the cord started fraying near where it connects to the pouch and the wires poke which really hurt. However, this came after year after year of abuse. Great product although I'd like to see a better cord in the future.

This is a great thing to have on trips! It's light and not cumbersome at all. I kept my passport, my ID, a couple credit cards and cash in it and my peace of mind. I didn't have to worry if someone stole my backpack then all my my important stuff would be long gone. The cord is strong and durable. The strap is adjustable and easy to lengthen or shorten. I wore it around my neck and under one arm. It could be padded a little for more comfort, but that's not a huge flaw. If I could I would give it 4½ stars!
Highly Recommended!

My husband used this on our recent trip to Europe. It was handy to keep your important documents in. But, the cord around your neck tended to rub. Wouldn't be bad if you wore it so the cord was under a collar or with turtleneck in the winter. He tried to put more in it that he should so it made it a bit heavier than average. We felt safer knowing the cord couldn't be cut and his documents were with him all the time. (I used one around my leg, under jeans...great for women! No bulges around the chest.)

I used this in Italy for a week - it worked great! Thin enough to go under lightweight clothing but big enough to hold the essentials. Easy access.

I used this for two weeks in Vietnam. We traveled all over the country so there were a lot of boat and plane rides.
It was handy for carrying your passport and boarding pass, travel plans, credit cards, money. However, it was a little bulky and did show under my clothes. No one ever tried to steal it but the strap has a wire in it to help prevent cutting. It didn't bother me in the heat as much as I thought it would. I would say this was most useful for moving through airports and cities rather than carrying around all day. (Although I actually did most of the time) I thought it was very well constructed. I combined this with another hidden travel wallet to split up the money I was carrying. That way if you lose one you don't lose everything. I will use this on other foreign trips.

Metal-reinforced strap is the key,

All you need to know about the Pacsafe 100 Neck Pouch is that it has steel wire integrated into the neck strap. This removes the critical flaw of most other neck pouches: an easily cut or broken strap. Why deal with the inconvenience of a money belt when you can have the stuff you want to conceal also readily at hand?
I have stopped using my money belt and now rely on the Pacsafe pouch. The only (minor) issues I have with it are that it gets a bit sweaty wearing it in humid climates, it bulges a little under form-fitting clothes, and the stiffness of the strap makes it difficult to roll the whole thing up into a compact package. None of these are showstoppers, of course, and don't affect the pouch's primary purpose: keeping passports, tickets, and money concealed yet accessible.

Nice but too bulky,

I love the idea of this secure pouch but it was just too bulky and uncomfortable to wear and it was very obvious under a shirt. After a day my husband went back to his waist wallet and I went back to my old, much softer microfiber neck pouch.
