About the Author

Michael Bond began chronicling the adventures of A Bear Called Paddington in 1958. Fortunately, bears don't need much encouragement and Paddington has since filled the pages of fourteen novels, a variety of picture books, and many other projects written for the young at heart of all ages. Paddington's mentor lives in London with his wife, Sue, and a guinea pig named Olga da Polga.

This delightful Board Book shows Paddington's daily routines. The watercolor illustrations help connect the actions to the words in the book. This helps children learn the words and book easier. Used in a story hour program, the children loved the book's rhyming pattern and actions. Any toddler would love this book in their collection.

My thirteen month old granddaughter can read this book all day. Charming illustrations in this board book accompany Paddington from dawn to dusk. This book has a very homey, comforting feel to it. It is very short, just right for a toddler's short attention span. For a fun short read, Paddington Bear is a great choice.
