Excellent reference for Indiana paddlephilia!,
By Lyn McCloskey "Self-Appointed Arbiter" (Hoosierville USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Paddle Indiana (Paperback)
Paddle Indiana is the perfect reference for canoers and kayakers in the state. It's very comprehensive and shows access sites, nearby maps and communities, level of difficulty, area camping and medical assistance facilities, and other relevant information. Various appendices list local clubs, DNR contacts, outfitters, and a bibliography. Very nicely done! Now if only they could make this book spiral-bound with plastic coated pages...

Must have for kayakers/paddlers in Indiana,
This review is from: Paddle Indiana (Paperback)
Definitely most extensive book of its kind. Book includes River/Creek class levels, camping sites, info numbers to call, dangers on said body of water, time to paddle body of water and much much...much more. Includes maps with dams/portages essential to anyone not specifically familiar with the area. Seemingly insider knowledge wrapped up in one book. Great price given the amount of information contained. Only negative to this book was approx. 1 week from buying the book pages began to fall out. Other than that amazing book and like the titles says Must have for any paddlers in Indiana.
