Product Description

The 11 inch diameter Black carbon steel chestnut pan’s broad, shallow surface allows for the roasting of chestnuts. It has large perforations which allow for significant flame contact, enhancing the roasted, smoky flavor. It is made of blue steel with an iron handle.

It cooks chestnuts perfectly on the stove. Cooking chestnuts has always been a mystery before purchasing this pan. It great and easy. Perfectly cooked chestnuts everytime.

I have used it several times. It is solid piece of work. Not too heavy by any means. All in all, maybe my best purchase of the year. I paid a fair price and got something that is outstanding. That's the way it should be. I use it on a gas range. It is a step up from baking the chestnuts.

Five minutes over a gas burner, and they're done. Don't forget to score the chestnuts before cooking, or they will explode. Also, you must continuously agitate the pan while cooking or the chestnuts will burn. but what fun!
