Well, I was looking for a crepe pan to replace mine I brought from France when I moved to the US. The story is, I am from Brittany "Bretagne" where crepes were invented and where for sure you will find the best ones on this planet. Crepes are tradition over there and we have the costly professional "Billig" at my parents. It is the real one with gas heat that they use in all creperies. So I am kind of picky on my crepe pan. Furthermore I tried to do some for my friends many times with regular pans but it was always too small or sticky...

This pan did it for the first crepe. Usually, the first one is messed up because the pan is not hot enough or too sticky, but this one worked right away. The borders came loose by themselves which was a plus and it was easy to flip it. The trick is too adjust the heat temperature before you put the batter and then lower it once you flip it. If you do want to burn the crepe, you need to practice and see what is the best on both phases. The only con I have for the pan is the metal handle. I believe it would have smarter to put some wood and plastic instead.

Anyway, this is a great crepe pan. Buy this one 11.825 Inch because the other one at 10 Inch will be a too small for a meal type deal. Enjoy your crepes and remneber: nothing better than 2/3 savory (buckwheat flour) for the main course and 1 desert sweet (white flour) crepe! Bon appetit.
