This review is from: Paderno World Cuisine Chromed Steel Glass Rack, Ceiling Mounted (Kitchen)
When I first viewed this product, it showed a wooden shelf on top of it and it appeared to all come together. After I ordered it, the product picture changed and there suddenly was no wooden shelf in the picture. I had no intention of mounting it to my ceiling. Coincidentally, I already have a wooden shelf just like the one in the picture and I will mount this product to the bottom of it. I suppose that was what the original picture was illustrating, but I misunderstood.

Now, about the quality of the product... when it comes out of the box, you may notice that it is bent and not all of the arms align nicely. Much like a person with bad teeth, some of the arms point upward and some point downward. It just looked bad. Then when I went to instal it, I discovered just how cheap this product was. (I am a carpenter with 12 years of experience... just keep this in mind, as you wonder if I know what I'm doing) First of all, there are no instructions at all. I figured it was simple enough, just 4 screws... so I wasn't too worried. I drilled 4 pilot holes for where I want my screws to go. (Note: the screws they provide are 1" long, so if you cannot afford for the screw to pop up through the top of your shelf or cabinet, you will need to buy different screws anyway.) After my holes were drilled, I began screwing in one of the screws with my cordless drill. With the speed on slow, the cheap screw snapped in half as soon as the teeth started to grab the wood. These could possibly be the cheapest screws I have ever encountered in all of my years as a carpenter. I inspected the screw to confirm that they were actually made of metal and not just some kind of clay or play-doh. My pilot holes were definitely wide enough as to not be the problem. So I tried another screw just using a hand screwdriver. The next screw snapped in half again just like the first one. After throwing the shelf and screwdriver across the room in frustration, it dawned on me that the product I had bought was a cheap piece of junk. The next day, I went to the hardware store and bought new "real" screws. They worked just fine, and the dumb wine glass rack took up a total of 3 hours of my time instead of the 15 minutes I had planned. Once the rack was in place it still looks bad because the arms are bent in different directions, and as I tried to straighten them, the metal began to crack and almost broke.

I would not reccommend this to anyone unless you want to play a joke on them.
