5.0 out of 5 stars A Great Introductory Book, August 7, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Pagan Origins of the Christ Myth (Paperback)
Concise and easy-to-read. Christian doctrines are traced to their origins in older religions, and Jesus' similarities to other savior-gods are delineated. ** Excellent **

3.0 out of 5 stars Decent Intro to Understanding Pagan Origins of Christianity, August 25, 1997
By A Customer
This review is from: Pagan Origins of the Christ Myth (Paperback)
This book introduces the study of pagan origins for Christianity. It is quite concise and gives the reader a primer on the subject. However, if you are looking for an exhaustive study, you will not find it in this 32 page booklet

5.0 out of 5 stars true or false? it's up to you., July 4, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Pagan Origins of the Christ Myth (Paperback)
the reason why i gave this read 5 stars is because the essay is based on sound materials / solid references and the writers case is not complicated ( i appreciate simple).

this synopsis is simple / clear cut for both: the faithful / non - faithful. it will broaden your horizons with the interesting / compelling parallelism of the ancients...

i think that this read will make a devoted christian feel discomfort ( the title is ample). i also feel that this should not limit his / her mind into exploring other avenues...
last but not least, i know that if the reader(s) is not a christian / muslim (muslims believe in the christ (not the godhead)) he / she will respect the writers well researched case.

sit next to your window with your cup of tea / coffee and kick your feet up.
read this uncomplicated booklet, it's worthy.
