Regretably a couple of other reviews for this album gave it fewer stars because of mistakes made in how they were delivered. Mistakes that have nothing to do with the album. Seeing this many will be put off.
As always Viotti is delightful. Do get acquainted with Ulf Hoelscher though. His singing tone is marvelous. Five stars to him. I regret that there isnt more out there by him. Both concertos are competently performed and I think that--barring mistakes made in how they may be delivered--you will be happy to welcome this CD into your collection.

This CD has some of the best classical tunes you're bound to hear anywhere at anytime. Mozart's Overture to the Magic Flute is enchanting, the string section in Smetana's The Moldau is lush as all get out, and the soprano in Mozart's Exsultate Jubilate has quite possibly the most beautifully anxiety-melting voice I've ever heard. I can't recommend this disc strongly enough, although I've got to take off a star since what I actually ordered were violin concertos of Paganini and Viotti. (See the other David's review for more info. He wasn't kidding!)

For all I know, this may be an excellent album. I've ordered it twice from Amazon, and each time they send me the wrong CD: "Romantic Interludes, Smetana, Liszt & Handel."

When I get a chance, I'll send both of these back to Amazon, but I doubt that I'll try a third time to get the correct one.
