Another reviewer had expressed disappointment that the pictures (unlike the cover) are in black and white. I didn't think this would be a problem until I got my own Bad Cat calendar. The day pages are of such poor quality paper that the resolution on the B&W photos is poor. There are captions (not particularly funny) with each picture that cover most of the rest of the page, so there is no space to make notes on the calendar, if that's what you want it for. Color me disappointed.

I am a regular buyer of the Cat Page a Day calendar. Don't buy this version. Really. Blurry pictures of cats in not too interesting poses. Comments below the pictures are not clever. Black and white. I am too lazy to return, but I hope to make a contribution by encouraging you to not waste your money. I used to regularly "share" the pictures of the cats in page a day, whether my coworkers wanted them or not, but I will not bother them with this em stuff.

Who wrote this comment with astericks below mine in blue? I didn't. I am not sure what they mean.

As another reviewer stated, I was lead to believe that the pictures of the cats would be in color and high quality. Wrong. They're all black and white, and poor quality. Some are so small there is an inch of extra space around the perimeter of the photo. Some of the pictures are so fuzzy that you can't really tell what they are of - for instance I thought one cat was playing in some hay, but according to the caption, it was wire. The pictures of the "wanted" cats are just pictures of cat faces, not doing anything or being funny at all, and the captions don't make up for the pictures not being funny. There were only two pictures/captions in the calendar that I chuckled at. There is also an error in one "characteristic" - it says that the "wanted" cat is known for having dilated pupils, however the picture clearly shows a cat with pupils as constricted as they can get.

I was VERY disappointed in this cat calendar. I thought it would be better than Bad Cats, the book. Wrong. It was definitely substandard.

This is more than a typical cat-lover's calendar. It is cute, fresh and amusing. Much like the book, it really captures the "naughty" side of cats that we all know exists. Nice pictures, too, but please note that these are actual photographs taken by actual cat owners of their actual cats, not professional photography. I enjoy it even more for that reason, because it makes it much more intimate and amusing. But be warned, this is not a "cute basket of kittens" studio photography sort of thing!

This is mostly a dumb calendar. The pictures are cute, but not color.
The descriptions are lame, and sometimes disturbing (i.e. one cat ate a donor kidney... is that real? It's not funny).

I really like cats. Cat products are always winners with me. Except this one.

That said, my wife got this as a present and thinks it is really cute. She likes the silly quotes and descriptions. So, the present, as intended, is a good one.

All in all, I'd be wary of buying this one, even for cat lovers.

I almost returned this, but decided it wasn't worth the hassle at the Post Office. I wish it was stated in the product description that the pictures were in black and white. The pictures on Amazon's site are only color. This is misleading, and frankly I find it to be false advertising. The quality of the pictures is terrible, the makers must be making a fortune since this looks like it was put together on a shoe string budget.
Some of the pictures are cute/funny, but the distraction is the distasteful comments printed on each one. This might be a very entertaining gift for a partying college student, but not appropriate for kids or mature adults. Much of the commentary refers to things of a sexual nature (like a kitten looking at a hula doll and supposedly thinking about what's under the doll's skirt). If it isn't sexual, then much of it is about alcohol, smoking, or drugs.
Very disappointed in this calendar that had the potential to be so good. This has also swayed me not to invest in the associated book.

The box looks like the calender is in color , but it is black and white. The jokes are not funny and the pictures are poor quality. Not only that , the cats aren't doing anything bad like the calender suggests. They are just regular house cat pictures doing practically nothing but sitting around with stupid captions below. This calender I would not recommend. I got it as a gift and was so disappointed I had to write a review right away to say Don't Buy It! This sucks

If you have a cat, or even if you hate cats, you'll love this calendar. Those of you who live with cats will recognize the attitude that the cats in these photos are flaunting. If you don't live with cats, this will only confirm your worst fears about that sweet kitty.

I love cats but I think the "quotes" are right on the money. Deep down they all want to take over and think they are so much better than every other species. I also think the quotes and pictures are hilarious. I have this on my desk and every day about 5 co-workers stop by to see the "bad cat of the day". The b&w photos are ok. All other desk calendars I have purchased were b&w.

One reviewer states "This might be a very entertaining gift for a partying college student, but not appropriate for kids or mature adults." I am a mature adult age-wise but I can still find humor in silly and dark things.

Some people need to lighten up and just enjoy silly stuff.

This calendar is the worst purchase I have made on Amazon.
The pictures are in black and white instead of color and some are very fuzzy with aweful captions that are far from funny. The rip off from this item is that it's not worth the postage to send it back. I thought of using it myself instead of giving it as a Xmas gift as intended. I decided I couldn't look at this thing every day. It would start my day off wrong. It's ashame that there isn't a lower rating like 0 and below. It surely woulld have gotten one from me.
Don't be fooled don't buy this. You will be sorrier than me. After all,you were warned.
