God's anointing is truly on Mr. Fred Hammond. His songs are based totally on scripture. He is truly an encouragement to me. I just started listening to Fred Hammond because I use to think that he was too contemporary. The devil really knows how to fool you when he knows that something is coming from the Lord. Fred Hammond's music is truly an inspiration to me. When I feel down and out, his words sent by God gives me the strength to carry on. I already had two CD's by Fred Hammond before I bought this one, The Spirit of David and Inner Court. Some of the songs on Pages of Life were also on The Spirit of David and Inner Court. It seems as if they were better on Pages of Life. As I said earlier, Fred Hammond truly encouraged my soul on this CD. Be strong and of good courage. I love you with the love of God. A true Fred Hammond fan from Mississippi.

It is with such gratitude to Fred and the entire members of RFC that I say a big Thank You! For being be obedient to the word of God. You are truly ministers of the Gospel. It is one thing to sing, it is another thing to sing the word of God. May you continue to seek God in humility and present the word with integrity. Never compromise what you have started, I have this picture in my mind, when people will come up to you in heaven and say thank you, best of all the Lord Jesus saying 'Thank you', 'for feeding his sheep'.

You have become in my opinion the First in a field that many have not dared to be bold.

I bought this cd after reading some reviews, scrolling for inspirational music, in need. Then i listened, really listed to this music....it has been a week since i bought this cd and i've played it dozens of times. Never, never, has word and music moved me like this. The arrangements, voice, message....and i am a struggling soul.......moved me to tears. Lifts me up now. Lifts me up.

TO ALL OF YOU RIGHTEOUS FRED HAMMOND FANS WORLD-WIDE - TAKE A LOOK AT THE GOSPEL GRAMMY NOMINATIONS POSTED ON AMAAZON.COM. THE FACT THAT FRED WAS OVERLOOKED IS AN OUTRAGE. WHAT ARE THESE 'NOMINATORS' LISTENING TO AND WHY? I REALLY WISH SOMEONE WOULD COME CLEAN ABOUT THE THE BASIS FOR NOMINATION! EXCUSE ME FOR COMING ACROSS AS CYNICAL BUT WHY DOES IT AWAYS SEEM THAT THE MOST 'CONNECTED' ARTISTS ALWAYS RECEIVE NOMINATIONS WHEN THEIR ALBUMS REALLY DON'T AMOUNT TO A HILL OF PEAS IN TERMS OF CONTENT. THERE MUST BE A WAY TO ENSURE THAT THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE RECEIVED THE GREATEST AMOUNT OF POPULAR ACCOLADES ARE AT LEAST NOMINATED EVEN IF THE JUDGES REALLY DON'T EVER INTEND TO AWARD THEM. COME ON PEOPLE LET'S GET SERIOUS!

For all of you serious people of God You have to get a copy of the "Pages of Life" Video. Not only is it a great witnessing tool (great to conveniently have on when teenagers/older non-believers are around) but, this video has segments of an interview with Fred Hammond, being as real about "life" as only he could be, AND MORE MUSIC!!!!! not recorded on the album. This is an excellent Christmas Gift. Once again, the dedication of Fred and RFC to Christ and the Message of the transforming power of the Gospel is unabashedly proclaimed. Let's keep lifting them up in prayer and covering them. At present, they appear to be standing amongst few in the contemporary Gospel music industry.

I have the Pages of Life CD and Purpose By Design. I am truly blessed by both of them. My favorite songs on Pages of Life are Please Don't Pass Me By and All Things. These songs remind me that no matter what as long as I have Jesus that I can make it . As long as I humble myself and ask for help. I love the fact that all his songs scripture based because one of his songs the Lord showed me the scripture to that song in a dream. I can feel the annointing flowing from the speakers when I listen to the CD's. The second CD that I have is Purpose by Design and I can just put it in and let it play but my favorite song is Press and Living Word. There is such a strong annointing on your life to minister thru song and I pray that you continue to grow strong in Jesus. May God continue to bless Fred Hammond and the Radicals. A live performance is even better than a CD because he is an excellent performer as well. I love you with the Love of God . May the blood of Jesus cover Fred and the Radicals and their families.

You know, I don't know if Fred and I are related through the family tree, but I do know that we are related through the spirit or the Living God. I'm only 16. I began listening to Fred at the age of 14. I feel that his music helped me through those two years. It really encourages and uplifts me. I still listen to it today, and it feels as if each time he sings the song, it's a whole different time from the last. It shows he's gives his all to try to touch the heart of God. I know my rating may be long, but in the same way Fred shares his music to encourage, I'm sharing my testimony to encourage. It's all about the Lord's business. You have a blessed day.

Yo diss album is da bomb. It's all dat and a bag a chips & da dip. I hope dat everyone can hear this album atleast once in there lives. I promise, and this coming from a new follower of the Lord, that he can and will convert an non-believers such as myself. Fred Hammond helps me with every song, to see things in a different light. For you non-believers out there, I dare you to check it out. You will see, goosebumps will follow, and so will your beliefs. GOD BLESS !!!

One the best things about this album is that Fred was selling it at $12.50 when double albums were going for at least eighteen dollars or maybe more (I bought it in a name brand record store on Independence Drive in Charlotte, and I don't remember the name) in those days. Fred not only blessed my soul with this great collection of songs, but he blessed my pockets, too. This album started great ('Let The Praise Begin' was an absolute smash I still hope I can sing somewhere in a church) and, although there are some dead spots and some sketchy production of songs that had the potential to be huge (sometimes the way Fred presents some songs seem to lack the oomph the song needs to truly be great, although the lyrics are normally superlative and, at the least, fitting), the studio album leaves you with the confidence that you have bought a quality album. My personal favorites are the last two on the first disc, 'You Called Me Friend' and 'Lord, You Are My Song.' I started to like both of these after a while, though, because nine of the first eleven songs on this disc tend to monopolize your attention. The best of these songs are the aforementioned 'Let The Praise Begin,' 'Your Steps Are Ordered,' 'All Thing Are Working,' 'Please Don't Pass Me By,' 'Jesus Is All,' 'I Will Bless His Holy Name,' and 'He's God.' I would always listen to 'Jesus Is All' and 'You Were Much Closer,' but they always seemed to be not my cup of tea. That being said, only 'No Way, No Way [You Won't Lose],' 'Your Love,' and 'I Wanna Be Yours' weren't immediately enjoyable.
The second disc, Live, can be summed up in one word: fuggedaboudit! The live portion of the CD is awesome because it not only takes you down memory lane, you really only have to remember until 1995! It is the greatest short attention span theater in the history of man. I'm writing this review in 2006, eight years after this album was released, and the live disc resonates in my spirit even now. GET THIS DISC SET. It is essential for christians. You do not want to miss out.

I am an avid fan of Fred Hammond and this cd remains true to form one of his best works. The first cd ushers in a spirit of worship, while the second cd elicits praise. I would definitely recommend this cd to anyone going through a trying time.
