A Kid's Review
This review is from: Paging Mr Strike (Audio CD)
this cd has some incredibly funny and rude songs which are one-of-a-kind, but as well as comedic value, the tracks are really great music and are recordings that should be in everyone's collection! While a lot of the tracks are a little different from most pop songs in the way they sound they are SO addictive - I'm listening to it now!! Favourites include 'My ex-girlfriend' (great lyrics) 'let me be your...',and the last track: 'Unsent letter' (a fantastic more conventional tune!)
WHY NOT BUY IT?! IT'S FUN!!!!

[btw i'm not exactly a kid i just couldn't be bothered to sign in]

5.0 out of 5 stars Great introduction from my Aussie friend, August 3, 2003
This review is from: Paging Mr Strike (Audio CD)
Over in Iraq, I was listening to some music on on one of my Aussie friends computer. And I fell in love with this CD and I was able to obtain a copy. (It's not easy at an American PX to find this.) This has all the humor of The Bloodhoung Gang, but instead of sounding like a sloppy garage band, they went for full tilt hard driving 80's dance funk. Outstanding tracks include Mirrorball's Starting To Rock Mk. II, All Of Them Ladies, Pussy Town and Mouth which really show how well these Aussies can Funk and roll. Other tracks too funny not to mention are My Ex-Girlfriend's Boyfriend and (Let Me Be Your) Dirty F***in' Whore. The lyrics (as you can tell from the titles) are not for the easaly offended. But the humor is fully tongue in cheek. Just a great party CD. Tell your friends about it!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars MGF is terrific!, February 23, 2003
This review is from: Paging Mr Strike (Audio CD)
MGF is a rocking, weird, hip band. Part performance artists, part popstars and part freaks! But check out Rollercoaster and My Ex-Girlfriend. After you have thoroughly enjoyed those tracks, you will be blown away by the rest - great party music and stuff to make your friends blush!

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent CD!, May 23, 2003

Everything on the album is excellent; that is true of the up-tempo smokers and the slow, moody, eerie offerings. The lyrics are consistently humorous and clever, the grooves are consistently infectious.
