Linguistics aside, the eight-person Promontory is an impressive family camping tent. For comfort and ventilation, this tent features a mesh roof with optional rain fly and two large windows. For your sanity, you can divide this 120-square-foot behemoth into two six-by-ten-foot rooms, so that the shenanigans of your little hooligans are confined to their side of the tent. Each room has a door of its own, and one tremendous side door gives easy access to both sides of the tent. The Promontory also includes a removable gear loft and gear hammocks so you can keep things organized. For luxuriating outside the tent, the Promontory incorporates a built-in awning that lets you kick back and watch the sunset.
