I was on paxil for 4 years for anxiety and social agoraphobia. I went off of the paxil when I was pregnant. After my baby was born i decided i didn't want to go back on prescription medicine. Although it did help my anxiety most days, it made me made me very unmotivated. I didn't do house chores and my productivity at work was getting worse every day. My acupuncturist recommended that I try Anxiety Control, the natural herbal medicine. It is working really well for me. I've been on it for almost a month.

Tried it myself. Its not prescription strength, but for no side affects it helps with anxiety. However, it does make you sleepy.

I am a Mom with 6 year old, 4 year old, and 1 year old. One of my kids had a sleep disorder for 4 years. I am very natural remedy oriented but had came to a point to get some "real drugs" from my doctor. Upon receiving the prescription, my (herbalist) friend begged me to try this product first. It was a Godsend! I stay on this faithfully when not pregnant or nursing. When I'm in the new mommy mode I use their SAF - Stress Anxiety Formula. I'm now going back on this product since my baby is a year old. I am very thankful for a natural product that kept me from taking prescription drugs for the past several years. I can tell when I miss a day or two. I get edgy and irritable and don't have the patience with my kids or husband that I'm used to. I immediately go for the Anxiety Control or the Stress Anxiety Formula.

I use this as needed when I feel various negative feelings like stress, anxiety, depression, sadness, nervousness or just simply feel off that day. It takes the weight off your shoulders. Great natural product!

I used Xanax pretty regularly for awhile but find that Anxiety Control actually works better for me. I only take one capsule at a time and haven't had to take more than 3 in a 24-hour period. I also take it when I wake up in the night, which helps me get back to sleep, and I wake up headache-free. I still am able to accomplish what I need to but in a relaxed state versus Xanax, which would make me tired and unmotivated. I know I'm taking something helpful, not harmful, to my body-mind-spirit.

I found this product to be very effective for several months. However I was foolish and thought I could take it in combination with other natural calming formulas, that incidentally had redundant ingredients. I unwittingly was overdosing myself. Then when my life got really stressful, and I had to turn to traditional medicine, I went through MAJOR withdrawal symptoms that were hell.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE ANXIETY CONTROL 24..THIS IS MY 2ND WEEK USING IT. BEFORE, I WAS TAKING ATIVAN, AND IT HONESTLY DOES THE SAME THING ATIVAN DOES BUT WITHOUT THE SIDE EFFECTS. IT HAS ALSO HELPED WITH LOWERING MY BLOOD PRESSURE. MY BP WAS 140/80 JUST ABOUT EVERY DAY I TOOK IT. SINCE I'VE BEEN ON ANXIETY CONTROL, MY PRESSURE IS NOW BETWEEN 110-120/60-75 DAILY. IT WORKS FOR ME.

Anxiety 24 does a good job of relieving stress, but if you take the recommended dosage of 2 capsules 3 times a day the bottle lasts only 10 days. There is another "calming" product out there that has similar effects and costs a lot less, but also has a tendency to make one feel "jittery" sometimes as it wears off.

I highly recommend this product. When I first tried it about 9 months ago, I thought it probably won't work but to my surprise it does, it gives you energy without overdoing it and the stomach queasiness I used to always have went away. I feel much more calmer and No drowsiness like another product I tried which made me sleepy day and night. Bottom line you won't be sorry you purchased this.

I was "prescribed" this product by a schooled and licensed nutritionist who I believe is quite well informed. The first time I took it it worked so well it was almost like using Valium. However, on the third day of taking this product I had a serious reaction where my blood pressure and heart rate went sky high, very similar to a severe anxiety attack. Later in the day I confirmed that it was this product by taking one capsule again and the reaction occurred again.

Recently I ran across more anecdotal evidence online that the ingredient in here called GABA has been known to do this (see article on Denver Naturopathic Clinic's website). It's my understanding that for most people it happens only with very large amounts such as 3 grams or more. For me it happened with only one capsule which is merely 200mg.

One could argue that I simply had an anxiety or panic attack that caused this spike. However, I have never yet had any attacks that have behaved anything like that. Also, I wasn't anxious either time that this reaction occurred. On the second time it happened I had just taken the anxiety control pill about 5 minutes before it happened.

I have read very few other reports of this problem so I believe this kind of reaction is quite rare.
