Insomnia has been a problem for me for about 4 years. It has been hard to go to sleep, and almost impossible to return to sleep if I woke up during the night. I did not want to use the standard drugs available because of potential side effects. This product is easily the 7th that I have tried, including homeopathic, other herbal, plain melatonin, teas, white sound machine, and even alcohol. (The alcohol would put me to sleep, but I would wake up in about 3 hours, and often be done for the night!)
SleepLink is composed of herbs, vitamins, and amino acids except for the melatonin. I checked the recommended safe dosage for melatonin, and the 2 capsule per dose recommendation on the bottle is within safe limits for melatonin. Everyone is unique, and different products work for different people, but this one works for me. It is necessary for me to take it about 1 hour before bedtime in order to feel sleepy when I need to go to bed. So far, I have used this product every night for about 2 weeks, so have no information about whether I can start using it "only occasionally" instead of every night. |
