5.0 out of 5 stars Flaming elevator shafts, July 25, 2004

This review is from: Painful Questions: An Analysis of the September 11th Attack (Paperback)
Even the ASCE/FEMA report accepts that essentially all the fuel was consumed in the initial fireballs and the subsequent 5-7 minutes of fire. The idea that the relatively small amount of jet fuel (kerosene) that might make it into some of the elevator shafts, absent any decent source of oxygen (remember that the elevator doors default to a closed position and were additionally protected by fire shutters precisely to prevent air from entering) could generate enough heat to melt the entire core simply makes no sense. And that these fires could reach their maximum temperature (after all, the steel should collapse when it's the hottest and weakest) so long after the crashes, about 100 minutes in the case of WTC-1, is simply absurd.

How would the fuel get atomized to make it flammable? You can flip matches into liquid kerosene all day without setting it on fire. Jet engines, and even furnaces, use very precise nozzles and regulated airflow to create an efficient flame. Pouring liquid kerosene down an elevator shaft doesn't begin to approximate these conditions.

5.0 out of 5 stars DUBROOM.com Review, November 18, 2004
By
Messian Dread "DUBROOM.com" (Drachten, Fryslan Netherlands) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Painful Questions: An Analysis of the September 11th Attack (Paperback)
When the Twin Towers fell to the ground, Erich Huffschmid had no reason to doubt the conspiracy theory we know as the official version of what happened that tragic day.

After all, with most sensible people he thought that "conspiracy theories" were usually expressions of paranoia.

So he probably had to answer one very painful question for himself, before he could write the book we are reviewing here.

"Is the Government story concerning september eleven a conspiracy theory?"

Recent polls show, that a majority of people answer this painfull question with "yes".

And Eric Hufschmid is one of them.

Mr. Hufsmid is a respected software engineer and programmer, respected in what he does. And succesfull too. Has he become a "conspiracy theorist"?

In a way, yes.

The writer of this great book doesn't really propose another "what really happenned" version. And he doesn't speculate either. He's just doing what the title of the book suggests: asking very Painful Questions.

Hufsmid not proposing a conspiracy theory, he is exposing one. By simply asking questions. Each of them can be answered. But the answers will not back up the official version.

Let's take a look at a few of these questions:

- Why is the military hiding the video of Flight 77 as it crashes into the Pentagon?

- Why did the WTC fall down in exactly the same unique way as advertized by the demolition company who cleaned up the ruins afterwards?

- Why do so few people know what Building 7 is and why it collapsed at 5:30 PM?

- Why do the official stories claim that the Twin Towers melted to the ground through fire where it is a scientifically proven fact steel buildings never do?

- Why didn't seismic stations pick up the crash of Flight 77 into the Pentagon?

This book truly asks the questions. Questions so painfull that it doesn't really matter whether they are answered or not.

4.0 out of 5 stars EASY TO UNDERSTAND ANALYSIS OF THE ATTACKS, August 13, 2004
By
Don (New Jersey) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Painful Questions: An Analysis of the September 11th Attack (Paperback)
This book is probably the most readable in terms of understanding the technical aspects of the WTC collapse and Pentagon crash.

Humschmid illustrates that the collapse of three steel structures due to fire is either the biggest coincidence in structural engineering history or the attack was a scam. what most disturbing is the degree to which the government has gone to cover this up. The fact that most Americans seem oblivious to this sham. The two biggest giveaways are the pentagon crash and the WTC 7 collapse. You'll have to read the book to find out why.

Despite what the negative reviews say, The laws of physics don't change because the government says so. it's amazing the degree to which some people will go to to ignore facts. But I digress. Bottom line, I found this book contained the most readable explanation of the collapse of the twin towers and building seven.

don't be swayed by those who label books like these x-files stuff. The fact that the naysayers have to resort to labeling and name calling is proof positive they have absolutely no case.

5.0 out of 5 stars What are you afraid of?, January 6, 2006
By
Konsummer (Chicago, IL USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Painful Questions: An Analysis of the September 11th Attack (Paperback)
After reading the reviews I decided to check it out and was very pleased with the decision. Hufschmid addressed questions that were fundamentals to the historical event on 9/11/01, which seemed to be overly exploited for a tragic and costly venture we've seen today in Iraq. This book obviously has caused lots of uncomfortable feelings among those who are "involved" in the tragedy on 9/11. If 9/11 smells funny to you, then this book confirms your suspicion. Some reviewers have unjustifiably discounted this book as one that embraces conspiracy theories. This book raises serious questions that must be either disproved or proven. Either case, it's worth looking into.

So, pick up the book and read it with an open mind. Then it's up to you to decide whether you want to believe it. But don't shut yourself out of the opportunity to seek the truth. Don't be afraid of the truth because the truth only kills the "bad guys".

5.0 out of 5 stars Questions That Need to be Asked, August 6, 2005
This review is from: Painful Questions: An Analysis of the September 11th Attack (Paperback)
These questions really need to be asked by anyone with a critical mind interested in understanding how our government works.

Hufschmid's book asks all the right questions.

Ask yourself this... What brought down WTC-7? It certainly was not a fire. The fires in WTC-7 were very small and contained, as the photo evidence clearly shows on the afternoon of 9/11/01. Besides, prior to and since 9/11/01, no steel framed building has ever collapsed due to fire. Certainly, two small fires couldn't bring down a building like WTC-7. There is no logical reason to conclude that scenario. Besides, even the WTC-7 building owner stated on a PBS documentary that the Fire Dept. informed him that the buildings would be "pulled" (slang for a controlled demolishion) shortly before it collapsed. It should be obvious to anyone that WTC-7 was brought down with explosives. Why? Is that where the 9/11 operation was run out of? Was there a need to destroy the evidence? Did it also help corporate America to get rid of this pesky building full of SEC offices and other government offices? If WTC-7 was obviously brought down with explosives, is it really hard to imagine that WTC-1 and WTC-2 were also brought down in this manner (again no steel-framed building prior to or since has collapsed due to fire)?

5.0 out of 5 stars A Forensic Tour de Force, May 31, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Painful Questions: An Analysis of the September 11th Attack (Paperback)
There is no other 9/11 book anything like this. Eric Hufschmid gave me my eyes back, so I could see what should be obvious: buildings being demolished the usual way (a view that was obscured by clouds of government propaganda and flaming jet fuel).
"Painful Questions" does this with relentless logic, common-sense physics, and lots of color photographs.
For instance, Hufschmid asks how Building 7 could suddenly collapse when it was completely intact, and slide into the ground at free-fall speed, except in a demolition? Is this why WTC 7 is not on the agenda of our sycophantic media and "911 commission?"
The book has a running commentary of insights about why people don't care to think about the uncomfortable truth - and why they should: the political dangers of playing the ostrich.
The evidence collected here shows the WTC collapses had all the marks of controlled demolitions. However, if it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, and waddles like a duck - it has to be a Boeing, if the majority and the media say so!
Painful Questions is also a tribute to what the ordinary citizen can do using their own education, common sense and logic, while "experts" follow the herd.
It includes chapters on some other cover-ups, like the anthrax scare, and on why it's possible for our military intelligence or whoever was really behind 9/11 to get away with it.

5.0 out of 5 stars After reading this, I am convinced 9/11 was a scam., July 19, 2004
By
This review is from: Painful Questions: An Analysis of the September 11th Attack (Paperback)
I am an structural engineer. Whoever wrote that other article is ignorant of steel buildings. There has never been a steel building destroyed by fire, including ones where explosions occured. As that other reviewer said, there is no way that the impacts on the top floors was large enough to pulverize the concrete. Look at pictures of other buildiong collapses and you will see they look nothing like what happend at WTC. Moreover, building 7 was built entirely differently from the twin towers, yet it collapsed exactly the same way?

Wake up and smell the coffee. Sounds like that other "engineer" is CIA or Mosad plant.

5.0 out of 5 stars the truth can be painful, December 31, 2004
By
Jeremy J. Lynes (ATLANTA, GA United States) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
This review is from: Painful Questions: An Analysis of the September 11th Attack (Paperback)
I have spent much, much time investigating 9-11. I don't take lightly accusations of it being an inside job, but the evidence is overwhelming. Mr. Hufschmid and many others have done good work raising questions that our government and media deem unimportant. As for the towers, Craig Hill's new video TREASON shows the "Squibs", which are accelerated jets of smoke propelled by explosives, exiting the building well ahead of the collapse. And they are visible on Building 7 as well. The, quite literal, smoking gun.
History shows 9-11 is nothing new. False flag operations to go to war are the norm. So is a half asleep public. But in this age of information and video, we have a chance to wake up. Let's not fail to speak the truth about 9-11. It may be our last chance to stop black ops tyranny.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wow! Science at last!, July 19, 2004
This review is from: Painful Questions: An Analysis of the September 11th Attack (Paperback)
I am blown away by the alleged engineer's comments. If you look at the video, you can see that when the very top first floors hit the floors below them, they are pulverized and the clouds of conrete dust come out of the windows at supersonic speeds. These top floors would not have the falling mass nor speed to pulverize them, nor eject such clouds. Moreover, even though it the floors might crash through the floors below, their speed would be slowed below the free fall speed. Moreover, the pieces of the building would not be so uniform. Examine any building destroyed by artillary or bombing and later fire. This was a controlled explosion beyond any doubt. Would an architect design a building that would collapse when one or two floors collapsed? The engineering is all there to look at.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great book. Great evidence. Case closed., December 28, 2004
This review is from: Painful Questions: An Analysis of the September 11th Attack (Paperback)
Don't listen to these arm-chair scientists, physicists and structural engineers that bash this book. Hufschmid shows that the government's story is a complete joke and could not have happened the way they say. Wake up propaganda slaves, demanding answers about the murders of 3.000 of your fellow citizens IS patriotic. The leaders you worship did this. Deal with it.

If this book has no merit, would a guy who doesn't even know the author spend $3,000,000 of his own money to promote and advertise it? Check the link and see if this book is a fairy tale or if what you believe is really fiction.
