My daughter received this paint and peel kit for her 6th birthday and she's really enjoying it. Our windows are full of her creations. I just wish we could find refill paints! We use the outline paint first, then fill the other paints in right after. Who has the time to wait? The colors do blend a little, but the outline paint seems to hold. The window art comes out really neat the next day. We allow ours to dry over night and the designs come right off the plastic sheets by morning. I had extra sheet protectors at home, so we copies the back sides of the design cards, inserted them into clean sheet protectors and were able to make a lot of different designs in one sitting. Definitely wear a smock. It's messy. And probably appropriate for 6 and up, as indicated. Overall we really enjoy this kit.

My daughter went to a friend's house and saw these window paints that cling to the window after you use them. She begged me to get them for her. I went to many stores and finally bought online at amazon. Klutz has something similar but not as many colors and does not have the stencils this one has. We made a few so far and it works great. The only down side is you have to wait for the outline paint to dry and then after filling it in with colors wait overnight for it to dry. I am okay with that because it is a good lesson in patience. My daughter is 5 years old and needed help with the outlining but she was able to do the interior colors with supervision. Overall a great craft.

I purchased this kit as an activity for my kids on a snow day. Unfortunately, this product is very messy and the overall drying time for us has been over 48 hours. Not something the kids can sit and do in a matter of few hours.
The paints are not washable so, wear your worst clothes. There was only one plastic sheet provided so, we were only able to do 4 designs overall. The instructions say the black outline paint takes approximately 30 minutes to dry before you can start to paint. We had to allow the black outline paint to dry overnight before we could touch it without it making a mess. Overall, I'm very disappointed. |
