Superficial dash and sparkle fade pretty rapidly in interest." That's what the artist states and is ever so true, true to the feelings and true to his faith to art. I am always inspired by this artist, through what he says, through his paintings and how he started his watercolour painting at his fifty! The light, the emotions, the people, and the whole feel of the picture... the painting itself tells!! I have read this book for many times and every time I read like is the first time. If you love watercolour painting, you should not miss this book!

This book has a free easy and loose approach to watercolor painting. It's a nice book to have and lots of good information regarding "how to" and "why." Yet encouragement to paint what you love and how to design it.

I just met this artist on the bus!

I'm an art student so we talked a little... He asked to see my sketchbook and I had just swapped it out for a new, blank one. Ack! Too bad.

He mentioned offhand that he'd written some watercolor books. At first I thought he was joking, but I got the name of his book and looked it up.

Well, as I told him, I'm no good with watercolors, so maybe this book will help me.

It's cool to meet a published author, especially when his books so apply to your interests.

What a nice guy! Can't wait to take a look at his books.

Decided to buy this book after borrowing it from the local library. The book is very good for watercolor artist who would like to learn to paint people. There are very few books that cover this subject in watercolor.
