The MR-1 is a reliable mechanical marker, but it has a few drawbacks. The price point is low enough to make it an entry-level marker...but the cocking handle totally blocks the metal sight.This tac rail is essential if you plan to aim at all. The rail raises your line of sight enough to aim while wearing a mask. The only real complaint was that it mounts on a weaver rail, but has a dovetail on top; so you should be certain that you scope will mount correctly. Also, the mounting screw can come loose over time so don't lose the hex key that comes with this.

dont order from them,

fast shipping except for the fact that they sent the wrong thing. have tried to contact them to fix the problem via e-mail and phone including leaving two voice messages and after a week still no contact. horrible customer service, don't order from them. order direct from the spyder website and save yourself the trouble.

This is a great product . well built and strong. But they could make it to stand a bit higher off of the the marker as there is just enough space for your fingers , without your gloves on.hope this helps you ! trevor
