About the Author

Sandy Eisenberg Sasso is Rabbi of Congregation Beth-El Zedeck in Indianapolis. She is active in the interfaith community and has written and lectured on the renewal of spirituality and the discovery of religious imagination in children of all faiths. She is the second woman to be ordained as a rabbi (1974) and the first rabbi to become a mother. She is also the author of A Prayer for the Earth, God in Between, But God Remembered, In God's Name and God's Paintbrush.

Rev. Donald Schmidt, a United Methodist minister is the U.S. editor of The Whole People of God, an award-winning curriculum used in thousands of Protestant and Roman Catholic congregations worldwide.

I used the God's Paintbrush Celebration Kit to help plan the programming for a synagogue retreat. It offered great ideas for helping the religious concepts in the book come alive. The hands-on style is very engaging.
