Whitney Lakin currently lives in Michigan but plans on moving to Washington, DC in the near future for grad school. This is her first novel, though she's been writing morbidly humorous diary entries ever since she first picked up a crayon.

Evocative and Extremely Enjoyable,

I'll confess - I am not normally a fan of the horror genre.
A little Lovecraft here and there is fine - but I rarely delve deeper than that. I was surprised how much I enjoyed this book - it has both a breezy, ironic sensibility and it has the chills of horror earnestly written to scare. So well done.

For any of those who crave the darker side of life, this is the book for you. It's a dark, sexy adventure that enables your imagination to fall deep into the heart of its surroundings. It's a very well written piece of work that captivates you to the very end.
