Pink Painted Cedar Adirondack Chair with Free Ottoman

I received the pink painted cedar adirondack chair w/ free ottoman for mothers day last year. I loved the color and it looked great on my patio with all of my flowers around it. However, within a month or so it began to fade and now (less than a year later) it is almost white it's such a pale pink. The Ottoman though, has not faded at all, it's still the same vivid pink and they are always together. This might be great on a covered patio or sunroom but on an open patio it just fades too much! Maybe they should use the same paint or topcoat on the chair that they use on the ottoman.

I had this chair for one year. Bought the bright yellow. Brought it in during the winter. This summer it blistered all over. Looks terrible. I will have to sand it down and give it the well-worn weathered look.
