This is an excellent artist resource for any serious plein air painter. I borrowed it from the library so many times that I finally indulged myself and bought a copy that I never lend. Lots of good quality color plates, lots of interesting biographical details about the plein air painters that started it all. Not a how to book, thank goodness. But inspirational in the quantity and quality of the work done. Study it. And get out there and paint.
