The Painted Zoo is not really a book. It is so much more than that. It is, in fact, a jar brimming with 24 wooden animals with paints, brush & pen, wiggle eyes and a booklet full of ideas. My daughter and her friends love painting and decorating these zoo animals! They have spent hours painting them. We are now on our second jar and I am sure there will be others. What a find! Every child we know is getting a jar for Christmas or their birthday (whichever comes first).
