I was disappointed in the content as I have no interest in painting nudes, portraits or figures. I do not recall that this was mentioned in the description of the book. I would have liked to have seen more step by step for landscapes, flowers and still life. What the artist used to achieve the effects of the paintings shown was informative but it did not explain how the specific colors were achieved. If you know nothing about acrylic paints the first 50 pages would be helpful. I would have returned it upon first glance except the postage cost outweighed by decision to return it.
