A story to excite the imagination of the young reader
"The Painting Ballerina" is a beautifully crafted book and a vividly told story of friendship and discovery that will excite the imagination of the young reader.

Amateurish writing and illustrations
I'm not sure why this book has received such good reviews. I bought it for my daughter based on the subject matter and reviews. It is not very well-written and the illustrations are very poor. They seem as though they were created in MS Paint. The fact that the book is about painting and the pictures are all black and white is disappointing. This book seems like...

I'm not sure why this book has received such good reviews. I bought it for my daughter based on the subject matter and reviews. It is not very well-written and the illustrations are very poor. They seem as though they were created in MS Paint. The fact that the book is about painting and the pictures are all black and white is disappointing. This book seems like something someone might create in a adult education creative writing course.
My daughter loves dancing and painting and she didn't care for this book.
