This book brought me 'in' and hooked me in the first chapter and compelled me to continue reading. I enjoy trying to figuring out where a story is going to take me. I was constantly surprised by the author's ability to weave out of my line of thinking and go in a completely different direction that then made complete sense. The book is well written with wonderfully rich characters and descriptions so vivid they can make you shudder. I look forward to the sequel.   -- S. Rogers

I love surprise endings and couldn't put the book down after the first chapter. How the character got from a room covered in blood to her happy romantic ending should surprise most. From the opening scene, this novel is intense; the descriptions of the scenes are so detailed that you feel you are experienceing the happenings within each setting. The characters are truly awesome; you can readily identify with the struggles Tiara faces as she attempts to understand and come to grips with her psychic abilities and the riveting and wholly believable phenomena that she encounters . Trish Lamoree lives in Las Vegas with her loving husband, best friend, and beautiful daughter. She's worked as a Webmaster at a Strip casino where she "learned the business" from a variety of experts who were happy to tell her about what they did every day. From the layout of the casino floor to security and even into the basements... where people liked to talk about their jobs, she was there to listen. "I don't think anyone knew quite how much I heard from all those different people," Trish laughs.

From the Author

I've been writing for twenty years, but it has been mostly poetry and short stories until Amazon opened up publishing for Indie authors. The PSI Consulting series is my way of stretching myself into all the genres that have ever interested me so that I can find my niche. It's a sampler quilt and I'm learning and growing through it. Now that I can publish what I write, I'm writing to find my voice and my song.

Being an indie author means more than just control over what I can write. It means I can format it with all the elegance that my 7 years as a teacher of Word, Corel, and Photoshop can buy. But more than the formatting, I'm an artist. My book covers are the canvases where I paint the souls of my books. Finally, something that takes all of me. Now I can sing with the full voice of my being.
