Nick's difficult life and his coping with love, betrayal, death and AIDS are wonderfully described in excerpts from his diary. Some passages are emotionally tough. Although the diary passages are by far the best part, this book also includes some prints of Nick's paintings, and interviews with friends, family and several art critics.
