This review is from: Painting The Nude: Learning from the Masters (Hardcover)
This isn't really a "how to" book, and it's not illustrated sufficiently to serve as a thorough overview of the subject. However, the author does provide more than the usual amount of explanation about a fair number of influential works by many artists. The images are not large (mostly half a page in a small format book), but they are reproduced well and in color. The range goes from primitive, to realism, and to abstracts. It's not the first book on the subject in my library, and probably not the last, but I enjoyed it and I'll keep it to read again.
