I am also a grown up that likes to color. The Dover coloring books are really great and very well priced for a quality product. I happen to love the paisley designs - hard to get bored with these shapes. Dover coloring books rule!

It's absolutely amazing how every time you work on one of these images they come out different, perhaps reflecting your mood.

The Paisley Designs Coloring Book is so much creative fun, adults will adore it. Dover puts out some of the best publications like this. If you're stuck in the house on a rainy day, staying home sick from work, or just looking for some cool coloring fun -- I highly recommend this book!

This is a fun little coloring book for anyone. I use it for scrapbooking backgrounds, but you could use it for anything! Children of all ages could have fun with this book.

This book would be great if there was not another picture to color on the back. Each picture should have it owns page with a blank bank. My kids are unable to use markers because it leaks through. Plus you can only hang one side up on the wall so it is useless to have a picture on back.

This is a great coloring book for adults who want to experiment with colors. I enjoyed being able to use lots of color combinations with many small and large spaces. This was intricate enough to feel a little challenged. I can't draw, so it was fun to color and to exercise my creativity with color.

Excellent coloring book for the adult! I had a lot of fun with it. My only problem with it is that if you color the designs with markers as I did, they bled through to the design on the other page, thus cutting the available images in half, which was disappinting. Why can't they make thicker paper for these books?

The designs in this book are all decepitively difficult and super cool , but they are also super tight .
I highly recommend using fine line or brush tip markers / pens as a medium .
If you decide to go with colored pencils keep your sharpener handy !

Some of the designs would be even suitable to cut out and make into stencils if you were wanting to do a larger project .
The size of the pages are adequate for copying if you need room to plan for mistakes !

I purchased this coloring book with the primary intention to develop my own designs for purses I am developing for my business - those with a 1960s-1970s flair. Yes, some are wild, as to be expected, others have a quality that can definitely be modified to fit my needs. Yet, I am also drawn to color them in and by first scanning the images (or I suppose get several more books), I can test color combinations to see what works. It is definitely fun, productive (for my business), and a stress reducer. Marty Noble's Coloring Book lines through Dover are of a higher quality in design and content (few, if any duplicates - interesting patterns - quality paper), but are printed on both sides of the paper. Yet when scanning, the paper is of high quality so the reverse image doesn't come through.

Therefore - great book for the creative designs (artists) and stress reducer (for the coloring book crowd...and it is growing...we are all becoming kids again!).

Love the designs in this book. Unfortunately, you cannot use marker because it bleeds through to the other side of the page. The designs themselves are wonderful.

This is one of my favorite coloring books. I love the complexity of the designs, how they allow you to play with color, and the fact that the designs themselves are gorgeous. I color with pencils only to prevent the lovely marker bleed through and use a piece of copy paper to prevent color transfer from the design on the back to the next page. I think this is a fabulous book and worth the purchase for anyone who enjoys coloring.
