I ordered this dress for a vacation and was so excited that it had such a variety of sizes. The Pacific Plex? website said they only went to a size 3X but Amazon stated it went to 5 so I took a chance. I am a 2X and that dress is not even a 3X let alone a 5X. The dress did have tag stating it was infact a 5X but my size 16 friend tried it on and it barely fit her. Dissapointed.

The dress is beautiful. The sizing is more like juniors than regular. I wear a size 6, and the medium is very snug around my rib cage.

I am a big girl and get excited when I find cute clothes that come in my size. Well I looked at the size chart of this dress and thought oh look I am a size 3X when I got the dress I tried it on right away. It was a bit too tight and the cup sizes were way off. I returned it and ordered a larger size (5X). In the real world I would never be considered a 5X. When I got the dress I tried it on again the dress was still tight and the cup size was still way too small. Where they got their measurments I have no idea. It is a cute dress but make sure you have small boobs and triple check your measurments then order at least 3 dress sizes larger, this is crazy.

I have been eyeing this dress for a while, but was slightly dubious about purchasing it based on the mixed reviews about problems with fit, etc. I am very busty (36 DD) and hippy, and often have problems finding clothes that fit my figure properly. However the dress is so pretty looking, I finally caved and ordered it. Delivery was very promt (I ordered it Thurs night and reveiced it Tuesday morning).

This dress is GORGEOUS! I love it love it love it. It is casual enough to wear to the beach, mall etc, and can be dressed up with a little accessorizing. It fits beautifully, and the little cinche around the ribs is flattering. The dress fell right to below my knee(I'm 5'5"). I was pleasantly suprised that "the girls" were not terribly over-exposed, because I often have that problem with low cuts. While the cleavage is a little daring, it is not trashily so. Certain bras will definetly peek out though. This can be fixed with a little bit of pinning and adjustment, but it is up to you whether you are willning to make these alterations.

The dress is also very versatile. I am wearing it to an office related event, and with a little pin or perhaps a couple of stitches, it will be fine. the only problem with the bust area I have is that the sides of my bra are slightly exposed, but with a little shrug/bolero, that's fixed, and it looks so cute! Also, in regards to being able to see your underwear through it, you can't tell beyond a very very slight discoloration. The material IS a bit thin, so you can see a slight texture change around the panty line, but if you wore nude/pink/white panties, I don't think it would be an issue.

The previous reviews are correct in their claim that the sizing is NOT normal, I usually am sized as an XL to 1x, and the dress I ordered was a 4x. I examined the given size chart, took my waist size, and then went up one size from that. Luckily I was right on the money with the size I chose, but if you are unwilling to take that risk, then you may want to look elsewhere, but I took a risk on this dress and ended up loving it.

I was totally hesitant at first to order it considering the reviews about odd fits even though it says its junior sizes and a size chart provided. But I gave in and ordered it and boy am I glad I did. The dress is way cute and perfect for casual wear and can be accessorized for a more formal event. I normally wear L/XL 12/14 but went for it and ordered it 3 sizes bigger in 4x. Once I got it I tried it on right away. Unfortunately, it didnt fit my bust correctly, it was a bit snug. The waist fit fine but just a tad roomy. So I returned it and ordered it in 5X. It fits my bust perfectly! 36DD! I have to pin the waist a bit but I can wear a bra under the dress without it showing at the sides. Like a previous review said, the material is not breathable and it will get warm. The dress falls to just below my knees like maybe an inch or two.

I love this dress! It's flattering and very light weight. I usually wear a size L/XL and I took the other women's advice on sizing up. I ordered a 5X like the other girls who were in my size range. Someone had said they were a size 16 and ordered a 5x and it was the right fit. I'm a 16/18 depending on what I'm wearing, and this dress is a bit snug. I've been loosing weight for my upcoming wedding in January, so I cant wait until my Honeymoon to Jamaica to wear this dress! Something else I should mention about the fit of this dress: Being a girl with DD, theres not many dresses out there that cant fit my chest. I also have big hips, but everything else is proportioned properly. This dress fit my waste perfectly, but my hips and chest were snug. thats not really an issue for me, but other ladys out there might not like the tight fit.

It's great as a sundress, a party dress, cocktail dress, beach dress, dinner dress, etc. The style is very summery, and the material makes it a nicer dress to go out in. The best part was my fiance's reaction when I tried it on for him.

Pros:

Its light weight, very feminine, very flattering (empire waste is best for any girl over a size 10, the sides of the chest part of the dress cover very well (i hate dresses that are shaped like bikini tops, where it doesnt hold enough "side boob", and its the perfect length (just below the knee, and it feel like velvet!

Cons:

-the only thing bad is the sizing. PLEASE keep in mind that this brand runs small, its not just THIS dress. I've order others from this brand in a 5X that were a little big.(if your a 16-18, a 5X is the right size for this brand. If youre any larger, this brand isnt for you).

-one thing to keep in mind is the black strap in the front that comes out of the empire waist part. Its tight. It doesnt stretch, so make sure you get the right size.

I love this dress! It is true to size and easy care. I wore it for my wedding vow renewal in July. Perfect!!!

I bought this dress knowing in advance that it would be sized small. I wear a size 8/10 but am VERY busty so I ordered the 3x. It fit perfectly... literally as if it had been fitted specifically to me. The coverage with the bust could have been slightly fuller, but overall it was perfect. The stitching where the straps and bust meet could also stand a bit of reinforcement and is the only other complaint/criticism I have. I wore it to go out with my boyfriend and he was absolutely speechless when he saw me in this! It's been almost a week and he is still talking about how much he loved seeing me in this dress.

This is a perfect dress with a flattering cut, design and pattern to the fabric. It can be very easily dressed up or down and worn for nearly any occasion. Add nude stockings, contrastingly jeweled accessories, a simple bolero jacket and the right shoes and it's good to go for dress/cocktail/semi-formal outings. Switch to strappy sandals, strip the bolero and change out the jewelry and you have a perfect summer sun dress... You could even layer it with leggings or tights, tall boots, a tank top or t-shirt, and structured jacket and have a summer to fall transition top.

Bear in mind a few things when purchasing a dress such as this one: 1 - It is meant to be somewhat revealing and very sexy. Therefore, you are going to show some skin. Even someone who is impossibly shaped like a toothpick is going to show skin and appear to have curves in this dress. 2 - If you have body hang-ups and/or are worried about undergarments showing through, I highly recommend wearing a solid colored, one piece foundation garment underneath. I wore a black, strapless, all-in-one, body shaper/slip and it made all the difference in the fall of the dress and my personal comfort. 3 - I am 5'8" and the dress stopped approximately 4" above my knees, which was perfect for me. If you are taller it will fall shorter and vice versa. 4 - The fabric is somewhat thin and clingy, but is key in the design of this dress working as it should. If you aren't going to wear an all-in-one or something similar under it you must go with nude undergarments and whether others notice or not, you will notice every single imperfection you ever thought you had in your body, even though they are more likely as not only imagined. 5 - This dress is perfectly structured to work well for nearly any body shape. It is best suited for ladies with average to fuller busts (up to a DD or DDD), but has a tie back to better fit it to those with smaller busts.

All in all, this is a perfect a-line dress that nearly anyone with any body shape can wear. I would buy more if it were offered in more colors and will be looking to purchase more pieces from this designer in the future.

My wife bought this and it looks great on her. She was hesitant when she made this purchase because of the reviews as she is very figured in all areas, but bought it anyways. She is normally a size 4 and wears a 36C. It is very fitting around the bust/rib area, but I think it is a bonus because it accents my wife's curves. The fabric is super soft and my wife says its super comfortable. Arrived on time and will buy from this seller again.
