Happy Feet?, April 11, 2011
The price is great. I've been looking for a pair of boots to fit my skinny calves and these did the trick (I would not need to have them adjusted), finally I can wear these with just tights and not thick jeans. However, I was very disappointed in the size. I am usually a size 11 so I decided to order an 11.5B/M, just to be safe (I wasn't safe enough). I think because of the shearling linings this makes the inside foot area thicker than normal, so this size was not at all comfortable for me, in fact it was tight, I would not want to walk very far in these. Also, wearing socks, even very thin ones, makes the problem even worse.
So I ordered a size 12B/M and I'm glad to report that they fit. These particular boots fit a size smaller. I tried them on with and without thin socks and the size 12 works for me. If you have slim calves these boots work great!
