I love Estrella de Mar, but this Album is in my opinion their best work.
It's flawless. It's mature. I don't understand much spanish but Eva Amaral's voice is so emotive you don't need to. All the songs on this CD have something to offer so it's hard for me to choose a favorite however, Confiar En Alguien, is the defining moment of this Album.

This band is the standard by which I measure all other Spanish rock/pop acts. This CD is very good, up to par with "Estrella de Mar".

Whatever muse caused Eva Amaral and Juan Aguirre to write some of the most perfect pop tunes for 'Estrella De Mar' seems to have moved on. This album is similar to their first two. That is to say, high quality, subtle, laid back and interesting rock music but not the kind of tunes that have many hooks that keep you singing them in your head. I wasn't expecting their next release to equal 'Estrella de mar', I was just hoping it would. Well it doesn't but that is okay, you still get another dose of Eva's very sweet voice and Juan's cool arrangements and that is good enough. Those who like Amaral should also check out Aterciopelados, another cool and talented chick & dude duo who make tasty, sincere rock en espanol.

I love her voice, but I definitly miss her singing with the "La Oreja De Van Gogh" I tend to find that almost every song she mention how much she is missing someone, so I do not see much variety in her music, is kind of always the same thing to me. I hope she brings something new.

Este álbum de Amaral es muy bueno la verdad, pero desde que sus canciones se volvieron más populares creo que han dejado atrás un poco de sus raíces Españolas para irse a un público más internacional (lo cual por lo general empieza poco a poco a arruinar la buena música), todavía conservo la esperanza de que su música no se degrade al grado de llegar al pop más mediocre como el Mexicano.

I almost didn't buy this album after read some of the negative reviews here on Amazon. I assumed that "Estrella de mar" was their one good album. I can truly say that this is one of the few bands that does not have a bad song on any album. This album is excellent, despite what you read in other reviews. If you don't own "Estrella de mar", buy that first. But make this the second Amaral album in your collection. A great album!

Casi no me compré este álbum después de leer algunas de las reseñas negativas aquí en Amazon. Asumía que "Estrella de mar" era su único álbum bueno. De verdad digo que éste es uno de los pocos grupos que no produce ni una sola mala canción en ningún álbum. Este disco es excelente, a pesar de lo que lees en otras reseñas. Si no tienes "Estrella de mar", cómpratelo primero. Pero este disco debería de ser el segundo álbum de Amaral en tu colección. ¡Un álbum genial!

OK I guess for those who like plain pop based on rock instrumentation (guitar, bass, drums). There are a few good hooks here and there but a major problem with this release is that the sound is generally flat and most of the songs sound pretty much the same. Thus the general replay value of the disc is low. Hopefully in the next album, Aguirre will show us how much in love he is with senorita rock'n'roll and hardens substantially the sound of the band. These guys have the chops to give much more than this.

I'd recommend this cd to anyone ! Its pretty light and is relaxing to listen too ! Amaral is a great band and highly to be praised for doing such good works.

Amaral is definitely one of the best Spanish pop-rock groups out there! Their songs are passionate, fresh, and very emotive. I would recommend it to anyone who loves spanish music.
