4.0 out of 5 stars Another Quality ELO Collection, June 26, 2000
This review is from: 3 Pak: Face the Music / New World / Discovery (Audio CD)
A New World Record and Face the Music where two of ELO's greatest records, and the variety and quality of the songs contained in this 3 CD set has most of their best songs. "Rockaria!" was one of ELO's most under-appreciated songs. It's bluesy feel and the repeated integration of the opera melody it utilizes really highlights the orchestra and rock band sections of ELO. "Strange Magic" and "Evil Woman" are also great songs and some of the tunes that really helped the band to break out into stardom. Although these two albums lack "Showdown" and "Turn to Stone," some of ELO's best, what is contained these three CDs definitely makes it a worthwhile buy.
