About the Author
Jose Antonio Almeida Souza has worked with Attainment Company for many years in international sales and product development. He created Palabras Escenciales to have full range of functional vocabulary to help both younger and older students and designed it to reinforce Spanish abilities while developing English language skills. Mr. Souza holds a B.A. degree in English from the Federal University of Minas Gerais in Belo Horizonte, Brazil and and M.A. from the Department of Romance Languages at UNC in Chapel Hill, NC. He has also done extensive work toward a PhD in the Spanish and Portuguese Department at the UW-Madison in Wisconsin.
