The Paladin 1576 Data/Link ID and Cable-Check unit is a multi-purpose continuity tester and network identifier. This handy unit is a multi purpose tester. It maps UTP, STP and flat satin cables with RJ45 terminations to identify good connections, opens, shorts and crosses and the unit also identifies network activity and transmission speeds. Cable mapping function tests data and phone connection schemes including patch cords and installed cables. Identifies cross-over telephone connections.

GREAT!! product,I'm an Engineer for a BIG hotel, (MARRIOTT) in South Florida, and this thing is great for testing RJ45 cables and for testing for internet signals, tells you speed, 10mb and 100mb, keeps me from carrying my laptop from room to room checking for internet service, works great!!...HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
