I tried several different brands of connector crimp systems before I settled on Paladin's universal system. I chose it because it handles anything from CCTV BNC connectors, to the normal F connector, to RCA plugs for your home theater plugs. You can even make custom length cables with different connectors on each end to handle oddball linkups like hooking your CCTV cameras to your HDTV input.
Be sure that you match the connector withe the cable you use - there are two sizes, one for RG-59 and a second for RG-6 dual shield / quad shield (one connector does both shields). Also if you don't own it the Paladin tool is a great investment - I have a review on it posted. Paladin Tools 4915 Compression Crimp Bundle for the Smart Home A/V Kit. Amazon has a good price at $80 which seems high but other places sell it for $97. |
