For over 20 years the Paladins have been a leading force in rock, blues, rockabilly, or what you might just call good music. Their versatile approach to the songs they play (both originals and covers) and the consistent quality of their album releases have assured a large following on both sides of the Atlantic. This concert, recorded at Nijmegen's 'Kids 'n' Billies Festival', brings you the original line-up at its best. Bryan Fahey, Thomas Yearsley and Dave Gonzalez had a ball that day at the open air stage and it shows. After a two week tour of Holland, Belgium and Germany the Paladins were tight. The hardcore Paladins fans grouped in front of the stage to sing and dance the band to a great performance. Shot with 5 cameras and recorded on a fully-equipped multi-track mobile studio, this DVD offers a great concert by three great musicians in a sublime combination of sound and vision: a true Power Shake!

This is MUST HAVE footage of one of the best blues,rockabilly, roots bands ever. Not much more to say but get this before you cant get it no more!

Great quality and great song selections too.

I WAS SURPRISED TO SEE THIS SHOW WAS OUT ON DVD. THERE ARN'T MANY ROCABILLY BANDS THAT CAN MATCH THESE GUYS.THEY WERE FROM SAN DIEGO AND LIVING IN SAN DIEGO MYSELF, I WAS ABLE TO SEE THIS BAND ALOT IN SMALL CLUBS. THEIR SHOWS WERE ALWAYS OUTSTANDING. DAVE GONZALES IS A GREAT GUITAR PLAYER. CHECK OUT THEIR LIVE CD CALLED "THE MILLION MILE CLUB" IF YOU HAVE ANY DOUBTS.THE BAND DISBANDED NOT LONG AFTER THIS CONCERT. AT LEAST WE NOW HAVE A SAMPLE OF HOW GREAT THEY REALLY WERE.
