A special compilation, December 21, 2002

It's almost an "obligation" to have this album for any Madredeus "lover" & if you are'nt; it's a GREAT Cd. if you "wish" to place the band in "World Music". The compilation has a little of the excelent story of this band. From their beginning 'till "Movimento". Indeed for me, I missed tracks like "Quem Amo" from "O Porto" (double Cd. live,1998) , but they include "Haja o que Houver" instead. There is No track of "Os dias da Madredeus" (obviously , that's 1987). It's a pitty that it's only "Globo" , a special edition for Brazil . BUT thank God I bought it HERE.. & You can do it also. IT'S AWESOME!!!! No regrets ;)

Emotionally evocative, passionate and truly beautiful! Madredeus' Palavras Cantadas touches your heart and soul and penetrates every fiber of your being! Their best CD to date. Highly recommended!!!
