This has to be a joke! It starts with a super brief list of the foods you can eat (3 types of fish for example!) and then gives you "recipes" with 3 ingredients. I don't consider scrambled eggs with bacon mixed in to be a recipe. I can' t believe I spent 3$ for a book with recipes like "put some berries in a bowl and top with nuts"!!!! Total waste of time and money.

I like the author's style - very engaging, yet easy to read. I was looking for a book which would give me a good summary of what the Paleo Diet is and I found it with this book.
The recipes are easy, and the author provides useful tips on how to vary each recipe.

I got this cookbook for free, so I can't really harp on it too much, but the writer doesn't understand what paleo is. Also, the grammar is pretty bad, it could use some editing. I couldn't use any of the recipes, so I had to delete it off my kindle store.

I downloaded this book on my Kindle. I have been an 80/20 (80% paleo, 20% low carb)for the past several years, and over the past 2 or 3 months I have slowly progressed to almost 100% paleo (I still have the occasional Atkins hazelnut bar, Justin's chocolate hazelnut butter which has some sugar, and drink HEB mootopia low carb milk several times per week). I feel great, my health is good, I have lost weight, and I run and lift with ease (I work out with weights 3 or 4 times a week, and run often in local 5K and 10K races). I most often use [...] for the great free recipes there, but try to find new recipes to keep my diet fresh. This book has a great general overview of the paleo diet, a nice succinct chapter on weight loss and paleo (do not decrease your fat intake!), and some great new recipes I have not previously seen. I would recommend this book if you are interested in the paleo lifestyle (it is not a diet, not a fad, but truly a lifestyle!).

The recipes sound really good. I think someone should be reading it though before you publish, we all can miss things in our own writings. In one of the recipes for smoothies it says banana twice and nothing about the berries that are suppose to be in the smoothie. I get what you are saying, but, someone else proofreading for you might have caught that before it went out. Other than that, it sounds great to me!

Not one of the best paleo books I've read. It's really an introduction to the diet complete with boring recipes I could have thought of myself. Several times soy is used, and soy is a legume and is not allowed on the paleo diet. Needless to say, I was not impressed with this book. Just glad it was free.

This cookbook didn't have much of a variety of recipes. Most of the recipes were slight variations of what the Everyday Paleo cookbook has. I would recommend Sarah Fragoso's Everyday Paleo as a more comprehensive Paleo book.

really doesn't tell you anything you couldn't think up yourself. Save yourself some money and just pick spices out at the grocery store and come up with your own ideas, good job and gettin one over on me Elaine Ross!
