You have no idea how hard it is to commit to something you really can't commit to. As an avid crossfitter, I pride myself in doing the best I possibly can for myself and my body. I train extensively and well...when it comes to dieting, my priorities aren't as solid. And its primarily because of the temptations of that sweet tooth that just wont leave you alone, or that undeniable hunger for that one slice of red velvet cake, or that chocolate fudge cookie.
I've heard about the paleo diet for months, and always attempted it--with minimal results. Then I somehow stumbled into this book. I swear I did a double take when I saw the words "dessert" and "paleo" one after the other. I immediately purchased the book and read through it in fiery excitement. You just won't believe the things that are in here. No carbs, no sugar, all natural, and mouth-wateringly delicious.
One of the first things I made were the Walnut Almond Dream cookies...and I washed it down with the Very Berry Smoothie! I eat these two religiously! This is the greatest thing that's ever fallen into my hands! I never write reviews this long, but I had to for this book! If you're doing paleo, like I'm doing now, this will surely become your new bible!
