I am a staunch believer in the Paleo diet, so was intrigued to come across this book of smoothie recipes. This is one of the best smoothie resources I have seen in a long time. In this excellent book you will find comprehensive information about the health benefits of smoothies, ingredients to choose, equipment to use and much more. Lots of tips and tricks are included and the 120 recipes are grouped into Alkalizing, Detoxing, Anti-Oxidant Rich, Low fructose, Green, Weight Loss, Kids and Advanced. You will be spoiled for choice. This is an excellent health book and I can only highly recommend it for you and your family. It is obvious that the author has gone to great lengths to create a quality and practical resource.

I love smoothies and tend to use the same ones over and over so I wanted some new creative ideas. This book does that well. It's concise, easy to read and the nutritional content is excellent. My only qualm is the high carbohydrate count in about 75% of the recipes if you're thinking of using these to lose weight.

The smoothies in this book make your mouth water. They sound healthy and refreshing. This book has so much detail and tips. I love that the nutritional information is included along with the recipe. Also it is broken down into segments for energy, detoxifying, weight loss, and kids. There is even an advanced section for the adventurous, with combinations that make you say hmmmm. Great book. You won't be sorry and neither will your body.

Kristine Campbell is a Corporate Communication expert, who moonlights as a writer. Her initial years as a legal practitioner instilled a discipline for research and a love for words. From a very young age she has had a strong interest in natural health, nutrition and fitness.

As a mother of two she enjoys cooking, teaching her children and being active as a family. She is a strong proponent of the paleo lifestyle, as she has experienced its benefits.

A long time hatha yoga practitioner, she starts her day with several rounds of sun salutations; which she believes is the ideal exercise that works the entire body. She finds peace in taking long walks in nature.

She strongly believes in and advocates the premise that "your body is designed to heal itself given the right tools and motivation".
