If you collect fossils or just want to learn more about them this is a great choice. I was impressed by the 650 color photos and the interesting text. I have met Bruce Stinchcomb and always value his opinions and insight on all fossil topics. This book is of interest to collectors, students and advanced collectors too. His other volume: Worlds Oldest Fossils, is also the best.Dr. Stinchcomb includes common fossils as well as the scientifically unusual, problematic ones, a great way to learn.
