This traditional Greek food, dolmades or dolmadakia (also known as sarma), is made of grapes leaves stuffed with rice, onions, and herbs. Palirria is the finest Greek brand of prepared food items and features excellent taste and quality. This product is suitable for vegetarians and vegans. The easy-open 2 kilo can holds about 70 individual dolmadakia and comes with a plastic lid for easy storage. This size is great for a large parties. The dolmadakia are ready to eat, but you can heat them if you wish. Garnish with lots of lemon.

I have tried a lot of commercially prepared stuffed grape leaves and I like these the best by far.
These stuffed grape leaves are vegetarian (unlike my mother's) but they are nicely flavored (rice, herbs, olive oil) and make great party food. I buy the big cans and they always get eaten up by happy guests. The small cans are good for family meals.

These reminded me of the stuffed leaves I used to get at the Greek Orthodox festival when I lived in San Diego. I think they may be even better as the mix of spices was just right. How can something so good come out of a can?

I only received one can of vine leaves. They are delicious. I clicked on 3 cans as he shipping charges were 13 dollars for one can which I would have never done. This is the first time I have been disapponted with an order from Amazon.com
